I am a proud Bulldog for life! I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology at Bowie State University in 2003, and in 2008, obtained my master’s degree in counseling psychology. I became a mental health therapist for the DC Department of Correction/Unity Healthcare. Recognizing how important therapy is to our overall health.

I use my resources and experience to build an individualized treatment plan that meets clients’ needs based on their goals, hurdles, strengths, and interests. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches and interventions including Family Systems, Client-Centered, Strengths Based, Narrative, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therap,y and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

I specialize in working with clients from Adolescence through Adulthood as well as with Groups, Couples, and Families. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, decreased self-image, life transition/adjustment challenges, grief/loss, relationship/family conflict, and parenting challenges. National Certified Co-occurring Disorders Professional (CCDP), Certified Human Trafficking Service Provider, Certified Trauma Provider, and Certified Gambling Provider.
